As part of our Unit of Inquiry, Level 4 have been busy learning about safety and the internet. Through the eSmart Program and supported by the Alannah and Madeline Foundation, students have been working hard to achieve their Digital Licence.
To obtain their licence, students work through 8 modules and must pass each module with a minimum score of 80%. The modules are:
Social Networking & Gaming, Protecting Privacy, Searching & Researching, Creating & Sharing, Digital Devices, Communicating Safely Online, Friends & Strangers and Managing Money & Online Credit.
The modules where very challenging (even for the teachers) and gave a great insight on cyber safety through a combination of fun and learning. We were very pleased to issue students with their licences over the last few days of term. Well done to all students!
