Worm Incursion

Brodie S - Year 4

On the 14th August 2015, Year 4 had their worm incursion. I found the tiger worms interesting.

Worms are important because they make our plants grow faster and healthier. It’s important to know that worms can break down apple, banana, grapes, fruit, cardboard, food, vegetables, paper, leaves, bark, bread, grapefruit, teabags, banana peels, lettuce, twigs and tomato just to name a few. What can’t Worms break down; citrus fruit, onion, garlic, plastic and metal.

The learner profile I would show if l had a worm farm at home was caring because l would need to look after the worms by feeding them regularly.
