The Year 2s have been practising telling the time on analogue clocks. They took a hula hoop and used it to make the clock outline. Each group had 60 counters to use as the positions and 12 sticky notes to write the numbers on. The students had to work out what numbers to write on the sticky notes and where to place the counters. When the clocks were completed, the students competed in a competition to see who was able to tell the time. Using a ruler as the minute hand and a pencil as the hour hand the students made different times. A fun time was had by all!
