Visiting Author/Illustrator - Michael Salmon

K.H.P.S. is excited to announce that an Australian children’s author/illustrator, Michael Salmon, will be visiting us on Wednesday 25th May, 2016!He will show us how he develops a book from early prototype stage to printed copy. His sessions are humorous, fun, interactive and entertaining, with a focus on students developing their own creativity. The Australian Government honoured his work in 2004 by printing a 32nd Centenary special edition of his first book ‘The Monster that ate Canberra’ as a Commonwealth publication for both residents and visitors to our Capital.Parents with younger siblings are welcome to attend either session, free of charge!His books will be available for sale after school on the day, and he will be able to sign them! If you would like to view some of Michael’s work before the visit, check out his website:
