Footy Day!

Anyone who visited Kingston Heath Primary School on Friday would have had to look twice. The school was a sea of colour, as the students (and staff) came dressed in their favourite sports colours. A.F.L. colours were a favourite but other sports such as rugby, soccer, netball and even cricket had their followers. Add a lunch of a hotdog, chips and a drink and the day was complete.

The traditional Staff v Students game was again of a high standard with the teachers narrowly getting over the line and keeping their unbeaten record intact. Thanks to Tom and Oscar (5A) for a great job umpiring and to Lucas S and Jemimah S (3A) for scoring and timekeeping.

Congratulations to both Prep classes who guessed the “Who Am I’ (Travis Cloke) and had their class pulled out of the hat. They enjoyed watching the high quality Staff v Students game from their very own superbox, complete with chips and an icy pole and waited on by Phoebe D, Tillie S, Mia G, Jenna H, Tejana J and Vanessa R. Great job girls.

As you can see, a day like this requires a lot of support so thanks again to all those involved.
