During Deakin Science, we looked at the properties of materials. We brainstormed the different properties of a variety of objects such as heavy, hard, crunchy, hot, soft, cold, fluffy and sticky.
Some items were handed around such as a rubber glove and a gardening glove and we discussed the properties. For example would they be waterproof or heat proof? Why can’t you use canvas gloves for washing the dishes?
We were each handed a workbook and we had to write out a reflection of our ideas.
