Cross Country Report 2016

After three early morning training sessions at 50 Acres (Kingston Reserve), 26 students from K.H.P.S. eagerly jumped on a bus ready for the District Cross Country trials. In perfect conditions, our students represented the school in the fashion we have come to expect; plenty of support for all contestants and 100% effort when competing. Congratulations to Tejana J and Tom B for making it through to the Division Stage after finishing in the top 10, which is to be held at Cornish Campus in Patterson Lakes. Good luck to both of you.

The final placing for each student are:

12yr old boys (3km): Tom 6^th, Andres 26^th, Hudson 29^th, Logan 32^nd, Jacob 48^th

12yr old girls (3km): Alannah 28^th, Rebekah 41^st

11yr old boys (3km): Joel 13^th, Harley 21^st, Brodie 31^st, ^.Jack, 41^st, Mehdi 50^th, Bailey 53^rd

11yr old girls (3km): Tejana 9^th

9/10yr old boys (2km): Jaime 31^st, Archie 39^th, Raphael 52^nd, Lachie 54^th, Miles 55^th, Taine 65^th, Lucas 68^th, Thomas B 70^th, Seb 71^st, Aiden 72^nd, Alistair 73^rd.

9/10yr old girls (2km): Sienna G 32^nd

There were many highlights of the day. It was fantastic to see many students competing for the first time and a special mention to Harley K, who, due to numbers, had to compete in the age division above (plus an extra kilometre to run) and finished a very credible 21st, an outstanding effort.
