Chess Club

On Tuesdays at lunch time we have Chess Club, either on game boards in Learning Centre 3 or in the Amphitheatre with the big chess set. We started with a small group and we’ve built it up so we now have quite a few kids who come. There are people to help with strategies to improve their game play. Sometimes we learn about how to move the pieces. It’s a good game to play because you can use your strategies to win games and it’s quick to learn. The people that come along love it! We have a mixture of abilities, some people are already good at playing, whereas some people are beginners.
