PMP (Perceptual Motor Program)

This term the Preps have started to participate in PMP (Perceptual Motor Program). PMP is a great initiative which helps students develop hand-eye coordination as well as spatial awareness. The Preps have been having a great time whilst undertaking activities, such as having to walk across balance beams and complete an obstacle course which requires crawling, rolling and climbing. They have also had fun jumping and learning how to complete a safe landing in a motorbike position on the mat, plus many more activities to build coordination, balance and gross motor skills. Throughout the term, students will continue to participate in more challenging activities, such as rope climbing and passing a footy through a hole. These activities are a great way to end the week and as you can see, the Preps absolutely love it.

We would like to thank all the parents who come in each Friday afternoon to help with PMP, it is very much appreciated.
