Overdue books

There are currently 157 overdue books! Some of these are VERY overdue. Could you please help by ensuring your child returns their books on time. Students who have books more than one month overdue, will need to pay for their book if it has been lost. If they believe that they have returned their book, they need to locate it on the shelf and have it scanned back in.

BOOK WEEK – Dress Up Day

On Friday 26th August we had our Book Week dress up day. Everyone dressed up as lots of different characters from fairy tales like Little Red Riding Hood, princesses, witches and fairies, there were also superheroes such as Batman, characters from Star Wars and Harry Potter, and a lot more. It was so great to see all the kids enjoying the dressing up and joining in the activities.

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge will close on 9 September 2016. Please enter your books onto the website: http://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/events/prc before this date.

The Great Book Swap

After the assembly we had The Great Book Swap. I was really happy that everyone had brought so many books in from home to donate because there was a huge range of books for people to buy. The money will go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation for indigenous people who don’t have enough money to buy books. We raised $332.50 . I would like to thank all the people who donated and bought books, as it sure will help a lot of people in many ways.
